The Bible is God’s Word, inerrant and trustworthy in all aspects and is an infallible source of guidance for the Church and for every believer.
According to Scripture, we are all born in sin and have need of God’s forgiveness.
God seeks to bring forgiveness to all, but as a just God, will not extend that forgiveness to those who will not place their faith and trust in Him.
To receive God’s forgiveness, we must place our faith in the One who provided the way for us to be forgiven, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
The Church Universal consists of all those throughout the world who have faith in Jesus Christ.
Believers need to be a part of a local congregation of believers (a church).
The local congregation is God’s design: each congregation is gifted by God to do the work of helping believers use their gifts so that everyone will grow into mature believers.
Local congregations function best when they take responsibility for their own affairs and serve their communities as God directs them.
Local congregations should work together with other congregations when necessary in order to accomplish tasks greater than a single congregation can accomplish, such as: missions home and abroad, orphanages, medical work, evangelistic efforts, publishing Christian literature and Sunday School material, and other works of mercy.
